Located in what used to be the city’s biggest pharmacy, this restaurant now counts as one of Reykjavik’s finest. Majestically high ceilings, impeccable interior design and attentive staff are only a few reasons as to why this place should be at the top of your must-visit establishments. In addition to typical Icelandic flavours which range from minke whale, Icelandic lamb and skyr (beautifully complementing one another in a 8 course menu), one should pay special attention to the restaurant’s cocktail-making skills as the bartenders have been awarded numerous international distinctions. Rest assured, the pictures below are just as much a feast to the eye, as they are to the stomach.
